Swift Ride Community Guidelines

Safety and Respect for All

At Swift Ride, we believe every journey should be safe, respectful, and positive. These guidelines apply to everyone using our platform - riders, drivers, delivery partners, and customers.

Our Community Standards

1. Treat Everyone With Respect

We celebrate diversity and expect all community members to:
✔️ Use polite communication (verbal and written)
✔️ Be considerate of cultural differences
✔️ Maintain appropriate physical boundaries
✔️ Avoid discriminatory language or behavior

Examples of unacceptable conduct:
❌ Harassment or verbal abuse
❌ Sexual comments or advances
❌ Discrimination based on race, gender, religion, etc.

2. Help Keep Each Other Safe

For Drivers/Riders:

  • Verify identities before starting trips

  • Follow all traffic laws and speed limits

  • Use in-app safety features (Share Trip, Emergency Button)

For S Foodies Delivery Partners:

  • Handle all food packages hygienically

  • Verify order details with customers

  • Report safety concerns immediately

3. Follow the Law

All users must comply with Ugandan laws regarding:

  • Transportation regulations

  • Food handling standards

  • Age restrictions (no unaccompanied minors)

  • Prohibited items (weapons, illegal substances)

Special Guidelines for S Foodies

Food Handling & Delivery Standards

✔️ Use insulated bags for temperature-sensitive items
✔️ Confirm orders with customers before delivery
✔️ Follow COVID-19 safety protocols where applicable
✔️ Never consume a customer's order

Accountability & Reporting

How Ratings Work

  • High ratings indicate excellent service

  • Below-average ratings may lead to:

    • Mandatory training

    • Temporary account suspension

    • Permanent deactivation for repeated violations

Reporting Issues

For non-emergencies:

For immediate danger:
🚨 Contact local authorities FIRST
→ Then notify Swift Ride

Why These Matter

Violating any guideline may result in:
⚠️ Warning notifications
⏸️ Account suspension
🚫 Permanent deactivation

We may take action for off-app conduct that threatens community safety or our brand integrity.
