1. Contractual Relationship
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access or use of MoiTech's applications, websites, content, products, and services (the "Services") in Uganda. MoiTech is a private limited liability company established in Uganda, having its offices at Kahinju Road Plot 29, Fort Portal, registered with URSB.
IMPORTANT: By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, which form a contractual relationship between you and MoiTech. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. These Terms supersede all prior agreements.
MoiTech may terminate these Terms or any Services at any time, except during active trips ("mid-trip termination" is excluded). Supplemental terms may apply for specific Services (e.g., promotions) and will be provided when relevant.
MoiTech may amend these Terms. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance. Our Privacy Policy governs personal data collection and use.
2. The Services
MoiTech provides a technology platform connecting users with independent third-party transportation and logistics providers ("Third Party Providers").
Key Points:
MoiTech is not a transportation provider
Third Party Providers are independent contractors
Services are for personal, non-commercial use
License:
Subject to compliance, MoiTech grants you a limited, revocable license to:
Use our apps on personal devices
Access Service-related content
Restrictions: You may not:
Remove copyright/trademark notices
Reproduce, modify, or exploit Services without permission
Reverse-engineer Services (except as permitted by law)
Data mine or overload our systems
Service Options: Includes:
Buffalo Luxury
Buffalo Normal
Buffalo Boda
Buffalo XL
Buffalo Foodies (logistics)
Third-Party Services:
Services may integrate with third-party platforms (e.g., payment processors). Their separate terms apply. Apple, Google, etc. are third-party beneficiaries for app store downloads.
Ownership: All Services and related rights remain Swift Ride's property.
3. Your Use of Services
Account Requirements:
Must be 18+ years old
Provide accurate information (name, address, phone, payment method)
Maintain account security
One account per user unless authorized
User Conduct:
No unauthorized third-party use
No unlawful/hazardous material transport
Must comply with all applicable laws
May require identity verification
Communications:
By creating an account, you consent to service-related SMS. Opt-out instructions are provided.
Promotional Codes:
Subject to specific terms
Non-transferable
May expire or be revoked
Fraudulent use prohibited
User Content:
You retain ownership but grant Buffalo a worldwide license to use content you provide (reviews, feedback, etc.). Content must be lawful and not infringe others' rights.
Network/Devices:
You're responsible for:
Data access costs
Compatible devices
Internet-related service limitations
4. Payment
Charges:
You pay for services received from Third Party Providers
Includes fares, fees, tolls, and taxes
Final and non-refundable unless otherwise determined
Payment Processing:
MoiTech acts as payment collection agent. Charges are due immediately and processed via your designated payment method.
Dynamic Pricing:
Prices may increase during high demand. You'll be informed of applicable rates.
Cancellations:
Fees may apply for late cancellations.
Gratuities:
Tipping is optional and not included in fares.
Repair/Cleaning Fees:
You're responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear. Buffalo may charge your payment method for verified claims.
5. Disclaimers; Limitation of Liability; Indemnity
Service "As Is":
Provided without warranties of availability or error-free operation.
Liability Limits:
MoiTech is not liable for:
User-Provider disputes
Third-party service issues
Business losses (Services are for personal use)
Maximum liability: 100,000 UGX unless otherwise agreed
Your Indemnification:
You agree to cover losses caused by your violation of these Terms or misuse of Services.
6. Lost Property
You're responsible for personal belongings
Providers may return items to Swift Ride offices
Items held for maximum 3 months before disposal
No liability for loss/damage during transit
7. Governing Law; Arbitration
Governed by Ugandan law
Disputes first go through Buffalo
mediation (30 days)
Unresolved disputes proceed to binding law arbitration in Uganda
Proceedings are confidential
8. Other Provisions
Copyright Claims:

Notices:
Buffalo may notify you via:
Service announcements
Account email/mobile
Physical mail
Assignments:
You may not transfer rights without our written consent. MoiTech may transfer freely.
Severability:
If any provision is invalid, the remainder stays enforceable.
Entire Agreement:
These Terms constitute the complete agreement.
